A rapidly expanding company in the Earthmoving field, Texcom was founded in 2002 when proprietor Robert Batt, long known for a serious addiction to moving dirt, found himself frustrated with the performance of other earthmoving firms in the market and decided he could provide a service that was better, safer and more cost effective.
Thus in February of that year, Texcom Earthmoving was incorporated with the motto Keep It Simple, Get It Right and Do It Well.
Texcom is a privately owned West Australian company, which started with three staff - Robert, another operator and an admin person - which expanded quickly to four staff servicing primarily the Agricultural and Civil areas of earthmoving.
Texcom employs approximately 100 individuals which includes "local, local" contractors.
From beginnings in the Agricultural industry, an outstanding reputation led to civil projects with the Shires of Williams, Boddington, Darkan, Wandering and Narrogin, as well as with Southern Road Services.
Building on their civil experience, in 2006 Texcom were among the first earthmoving firms to be contracted to the Newmont Boddington Gold Mine once operations recommenced.
Texcom relies primarily on word-of-mouth for building business relationships, and an excellent reputation, quality service and unblemished safety record help ensure both new client referrals and repeat business from satisfied Texcom customers.
Robert - and Texcom - maintain a passion for the industry, and as such seek out others who share that passion to bring them onboard with Texcom, ensuring our operators are knowledgable and dedicated to the job at hand. And because we can boast the best, most passionate staff, we can also boast a 100% safety record.
2008 brings new opportunities, and Texcom is focusing on consolidating our growth with increased training, safety and product development initiatives.
The key to our success is Passion, Dedication, Safety, Quality and Value - and the continued adherence to our motto:
Keep It Simple, Get It Right and Do It Well.
